Reality TV
FOXNews.com - Foxlife - Reality Catches Up With Reality TV
Reality TV has, for the most part been a big turn-off for me. I miss the days when mindless hours spent watching the idiot box weren’t marred with a nearly unexpected incident such as seeing someone eat something still alove and crawling. *blech*
I do enjoy an occasional hour or so each week but it’s always the more tame variety of “reality.” The scariest thing on The Apprentice is Donald’s hair, but even then I couldn’t watch the first half of the first season because of it. I don’t think I’ll ever get to the point where I can watch the gross dinner stunts - I’ll probably even skip that episode of Survivor.
I think we get the point - some people will do anything to get on television, and most everyone else will pretty much sit around and watch them do it. I’m kind of glad to see a decline in the interest in reality tv.
Now, if only I could find a way to get on the next round of “Big Fat Loser.”
