Pet Peeve
I know I haven’t yet bored you with my inane list of pet peeves - despite their importance *to me* - but I have a new one.
The word “utilize” is over-utilized. Would everyone please stop what you are doing to permanently remove this word from your vocabulary? Just say “use.” It’s much simpler and still conveys the exact same meaning. All without sounding like you only know one big word and need to work it in whenever possible.
