Kiddo is watching a show about the Most! Extreme! life forms or animals or something…

I stopped to watch a few minutes when they started talking about a parasite that lives on ants.  As it turns out, the parasite forces the ant to climb to the top of a blade of grass, chomp down on the end and just hang there.

Then, a rabbit comes along and eats the ant-zombie (and the parasite) where the parasite grows into some kind of liver worm.  At which point it lays eggs, which are then released with the rabbit pellets as he goes hopping down the bunny trail.

A SNAIL comes along and eats the egg, and the egg hatches.  That little critter hangs around until the snail covers it in snail-slime.  At some point the critter is surrounded by slime and the snail “coughs” it out.

I was finally able to quit watching at the point where the narrater stated:

“As it turns out…  snail snot is one of ant’s FAVORITE things to eat!”
